About the Role A well-established Australian consultancy is seeking a Cloud Solutions Engineer to design and deliver secure, scalable, and compliant cloud environments for clients across defence, government, finance, and enterprise sectors. This position combines on-site, office, and work-from-home flexibility, allowing you to contribute directly to mission-critical national projects while maintaining balance in how you work. Key Responsibilities Architect and implement multi-cloud environments across Azure, AWS, and hybrid systems. Deliver Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, Bicep, and CloudFormation. Enhance DevOps pipelines and automation with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and AWS CodePipeline. Apply Zero Trust security principles and compliance frameworks including Essential Eight, IRAP, GDPR, and PCI DSS. Lead high-value cloud migration and transformation programs. Provide technical leadership and strengthen governance through reusable standards and policies. Support FinOps practices to drive cost-efficient cloud operations. Skills & Experience Minimum 5 years’ experience in cloud engineering, architecture, or security delivery. Hands-on expertise with Azure and AWS environments. Familiarity with compliance frameworks in regulated industries. Strong automation and DevOps capabilities. Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills. Recognised certifications such as AZ-305, AZ-500, or AWS Solutions Architect Associate. Baseline Security Clearance (or eligibility to obtain). Why Join?
